Laser Melting Steel

This was my first Houdini project it was a tun of fun and a great way to start learning the Houdini workflow. I turned the whole beam into a flip sim with a super hi viscosity. Then used a SOP solver in the DOP network to control the viscosity where the beam was melting. After the sim I meshed the particles and then I transferred the UVs onto the new mesh to preserve the original textures.
